We are a family of three in transition. We spent years being frugal and are now at a crossroad. We'd like to retire from our day jobs in two years or less. Our retirement goals are to provide our daughter with the best education she desires; travel; and find new careers - perhaps part-time that we really enjoy. I hope to post both "frugal" and "personal finance" information. NOTE: I am not a professional on either subject. My posts are purely entertainment :)

5/12 Expressions
Frugal deeds for the day: The heating/cooling boss dropped the price by $50 from his quote. I'll take it. I gave blood, so, I didn't have to take any vacation time to deal with the installation. Also, when I gave blood, they gave me a t-shirt, re-usable shopping bag, stuffed "bloodhound", coupons (gave them away - for cookies dough and the like), cookies, and a few bottles of water. I think they put extras in my bag - because I am almost a regular. Now, I need to make the most of the rest of the day.
