5/23 Expressions

Frugal deeds for the day:  My husband's employer extended his per diem which will cover this past month.  It is a reduced coverage - and fortunately, he lived like it wasn't going to be approved, so, now that it is, we are happy.  The past two weeks, he has been staying a a nicer hotel - but using free hotel points and gift cards for dining out.  The real estate agent is suppose to call him back about the short sale tonight.  Seems like it went into a do-loop again.  How long does it take to order an appraisal - surely not over a week.  There's the telephone, telegram, e-mail - they should have been able to "order" one by now.  He looked at a foreclosed property today - although it was nice, he said it smelled funky.
